Reminder the Blood Drive is Monday, Oct 14th from 12pm - 5pm at Camden Middle School. As autumn sets in, it's the perfect time to give blood and be a part of something bigger than yourself, helping those in need during a season of change. Treat yourself! Come give blood in Oct. for a $10 Amazon gift card + chance to win a $5,000 gift card by email Donors can sign up through you, through the app, or online at www.redcrossblood.org Donors can use RapidPass! RapidPass allows you save time at the donation site. RapidPass can be found at www.redcrossblood.org/RapidPass and must be completed on the day of the drive. Donors please eat a good breakfast/lunch, drink plenty of water, and bring a form of picture ID with them to the drive. Camden County Schools will dismiss students tomorrow, Friday, September 27, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. due to potential flooding. All after school activities are also canceled for Friday, the 27th.

Due to road conditions and anticipated continued flooding in portions of our county, Camden County Schools will operate on a two hour delay tomorrow morning, Wednesday, September 18, 2024. There may be certain roads that buses cannot go down or that are unsafe for drivers after 10:00 am. In this case, student absences will be excused but please have a parent/guardian contact the school by 12:00 pm tomorrow to let them know.

We were recently made aware of a potential threat against schools with a Camden reference. We have been in communication with the Camden County Sheriff's Department, and at this time, we have no evidence that it is a credible threat, or even a reference to Camden County Schools in North Carolina. The safety of our students and staff is a priority of Camden County Schools. We are thankful for students and families who support our school system and inform us when they see or hear anything that could potentially impact schools. We encourage you to continue to be vigilant and to communicate any concerns.

Their incredible commitment to ensuring the safety of our students during their journeys to and from school deserves recognition.
